Two Hard Men back for the UTi Rhodes Trail Run
While we enjoy a wet and warm summer there are hundreds of people around the country who are dreaming of visiting our region later this year and hoping for a cold winter.
They are of course the runners invited to participate in the UTi Rhodes Trail Run which takes place on 14 July.
The first run was held in 1989 and this year will be the 24th staging of this iconic event. Two runners from that initial group have already confirmed they will be back.
Sham Singh and Danny Holton have both completed each of the 23 events to-date and will be out there showing the novices what the hills and rivers around Rhodes are all about. The field usually comprises some 35% first-timers so there will be plenty of new nervous eyes watching the two hard men of the UTi Rhodes Trail Run.
