One hundred and one years after the Rhodes Hotel opened its doors our inaugural event started outside De Wydeman, its historic pub.
There had been a good snowfall overnight 'up high' which caused a slight delay as our crew made their way along the Border Road to the Mavis Top check point.
Two of our 1989 pioneers will line up in July and 12% of our entrants this year were born after our first run.
Sadly some of our pioneers are no longer with us. Run gently. ✝️
