Spring has arrived in Rhodes ...but not the end of cold fronts!
The warmer weather has melted most of the snow although there is still quite a bit on Ben MacDhui and on all high ground, with patches still remaining on Hooggenoeg Ridge.
Having been buried under 2m of snow the route flags from 'up high' in the Kloppershoek kloof, up Mavis Bank and along Hooggenoeg Ridge were finally uplifted, slightly weather beaten, on Friday. Thanks to Dave Walker and the team from 'Walkerbouts'.
Lovely to see the mountainside striking such a verdant pose after the harsh winter.
