In the 24 year history of the UTi Rhodes Trail Run a total of 5997 finisher medals have been awarded to 2235 individuals.
'Snowflake' Permanent numbers have been presented to 938 runners and Tammy Kelly is the only 5 time winner when she made the event her own between 2004 and 2008.
There have been three multiple Woman's winners - Tammy (5), Mariëtta Sassenberg (van Rooyen) (2) and Petro Weideman (2); while there have been five Men's multiple winners - Trevor Toerien (4), Jannie le Roux (3), Gary Smith (3), Mike de Villiers (2) and Iain Morshead (2).
This weekend being the 88th Comrades Marathon worth mentioning that the record holder on the 'old' route Charl Mattheus is the only dual Comrades Marathon and Rhodes Trail Run winner. Best times on the Hooggenoeg Ridge route held by Johnny Young (2008) and Kerry Koen (2010).
