Hunting is not new. Hunting is accepted. Mass hunting on an annual basis before the Rhodes Run cut-off date is the norm.

'Invitation Hunters'¹ tend to gather at one spot where success is fairly certain. A successful hunt is never guaranteed but the alert and observant 'Invitation Hunters' know that to increase the chance of success they must move where the success rate is traditionally the highest.

Rhodes Run 'Invitation Hunters' use the thicket of the Forum, where for the past 10+ years the success rate has been 100%²

As with all hunts, patience is needed, and patience is rewarded.

However, the Rhodes Run 'Invitation Hunter' is often not only looking for a jog up Mavis Bank and a trot along Hooggenoeg Ridge but for a greater challenge.
