Sometimes things pan out unexpectedly, but perfectly.

The Rhodes Run Snowflake numbers are awarded chronologically in the sequence runners cross the finish line on completing their third run. While a runner is out on the mountain or pulling air into his/her lungs on Mavis their possible 'Snowflake' number is probably (read definitely) not being contemplated.

Get over the line, and let the numbers fall where they may.

But, as Filippo Faralla found, sometimes your Rhodes finish sequence is, well, pretty much perfect, with 1078 'Snowflakes' allocated before he went under the banner this year completing his third Rhodes.
