The withdrawal of our 2017 Petard champion, Boxford resident Peter Cross, meant there was a fleeting thought that no Petard would be at the 2018 Rhodes Run.

While no entry has been received from a runner qualifying for the Petard Trophy there will be a Petard present. A member of the 'No Name Athletic Club Petards' will be on the route on race day, although probably not wearing his 'club colours'. An offence that will in all likelihood result in suitable reprimand from and retribution to the Petards Empress.
