Temperature has been dropping and rain has been falling on the trail. Both good early signs for a cold winter.
And, although not expected to materialise, today we have the first forecast that snow can be expected on the route. As a reminder what the route can look like, here is the flag team setting the route in 2009.
Time to check on that winter kit.
