As 2020 morphs into 2021 and our 32nd Rhodes Run, we will keep it simple and wish you good health and trails, lots of both, in the new year.

When our starters line up on 3 July only Mavis and the 'Tufts of Terror' will be older than two of our 2021 field.

To be fair, pretty much all of the rest of the route as well, but no-one wearing a white, red, blue, mauve or gold race number.

Challenging for the prestigious Petards Trophy will be Snowflake Numbers 368 Peter Cross and 997 Francois Steyl.

Around the world Santa takes on many forms, shapes, names.

In Zakhele he takes the form of an Aramex vehicle, and Santa’s elves wear Aramex shirts.

Santa arrived early in Zakhele this year.

After that devastating fire which destroyed the Rhodes Public School there has been magnificent support from our runners, crew, event partners, family and total strangers. From South Africa, Australia, England and the USA.

As we enter the Season of Goodwill, we express our gratitude for all the goodwill shown over these past few months towards the pupils and staff of the Rhodes Public School.
